Firefox Not Working

Featured Replies

Firefox suddenly quit working. When I launch it, it stays on "Untitled Page". Any help? Something like this happened another time, but I think that time I had downloaded something, so I somehow fixed that one with some help from this forum. This time, I don't know of anything I did that could have caused it.

Thanks, Tom

Go to tools options> general and make sure where it says homepage that you have either 'show my homepage' or ' show my windows and tabs from last time' is selected and not 'show blank page'

That's not it. It says Show my Homepage. When I launch it, the destination page shows in the address window, namely AOL mail, but even when I click on the Go arrow, it says Done at the bottom task bar, but the tab still says Untitled.

Thanks for the response though.

try opening Firefox in safe mode

How do I do that, and what do I do if it works / doesn't work?

Thanks

OK. I found it on Mozilla and did what you suggested. In safe mode, I disabled Add-ons per their suggestion, and that fixed it.

Thanks for the tip.

Tom

You can re-enable the addons one by one to find the one that caused the problem.
