Work Permit Required Or Not

Hi all,

Can anyone advise me if I need to have a work permit, to actually work for free as a volunteer. I have been offered work at a radio station as a DJ on the basis this is free and I will not be paid for my time. The radio company have informed me that it is fine to work as a volunteer as I will recieve no pay but I have stressed my doubts to them. I am sure that even if I volunteer for the work it will be still classed still as working, as anyone come across problem before?

I do have a non immigrant B visa, so I can apply for a work permit if required!

To be legal you need a work permit.

In the Thai definition of work....You will be working, so you will need a work permit.
