^^^^^,

great stuff, from back in the day before Dave brock got greedy and kicked out everyone in the band.

People band my ass.

Personally I prefer this, the lo fi makes it sound all the better, drums n bass, coupled with proper HW noises, sadly Brocks tribute band of today bears no resemblence, best go and watch The Hawklords for an authentic experience.

More HW than Brocks pathetic tribute band, a proper old school jam of a classic.

Only one problem with this classic, it dont last long enough.

Get it sorted Neil, get it jammed out to at least 10 minutes long, 15 minutes would be better, 20 minutes would be sweet.

Excellent Opa Lok version rgs, I remember seeing Hawkwind with Huw Lloyd Langton on lead guitar in Bath in the mid 80s- superb.

Always loved this classic.

In answer to post #3077,

Listen to the original before it was ripped off.

Must admit always preferred Ashra Temple myself.

This blows PF out the water, MG never gets credit for his guitar playing.

I missed Neu first time around, only heard about them last year,an exceptional band

In the early 70s Amon Duul and Can were the German bands I heard the most.

Love this song from Can, it's got a rhythmic drive to it, essential for 'feel good' space rock in my opinion.

^^^^^,

heres another band no one has ever heard of,

BTW, the HW tour with Huwie on lead was the Chronicle of The Black Sword tour of 1985, personally I thought it sucked.

Its happy hour again, two for the price of one, happy days.

followed by another classic,
