Popular Thai Pop Songs You Hear At Bars

Featured Replies

There are a few in particular that everyone seems to know and go nuts when they hear

What are their names? I would like to download them

how long is a piece of string ?

Instead of us all trying to guess which of the 19,2 Million Thai pop songs you are referring to, how about you ask someone who is around you at the time you hear it ?

A lot easier and less confusing that way

This seems to get played alot My link, also on TV. I think they call it Black and White Turd, but maybe wrong :D

I will offer up two songs, which EVERY thai in this country, no matter where they're from seems to know;

The first might as well be the frickin' thai national anthem :o and is called "Som Sarn" (ซมซาน) by the thai rocker Sek Loso (เสก โลโซ) ;

The second one is also by Sek Loso (เสก โลโซ) and Bird Thongchai (เบิร์ด ธงไชย) called Om phra ma poot (อมพระมาพูด);

FWIW: There are TONZ of good thai rock bands out there, and surprisingly their lyrics (IF you can understand thai) aren't all that bad either.

Enjoy

The riff in the 2nd one is a little catchy, but other than that this guy sucks.

I'm looking more for poppy/dancey songs rather than rock ballads.
