Pattaya Fireworks Festival held in honor of the Queen´s birthday anniversary

BANGKOK (NNT) -- The 2nd Pattaya International Fireworks Festival is being organized on the Pattaya beach in Chon Buri province on 14 August 2010, marking the auspicious occasion of HM the Queen’ 78th birthday anniversary on 12 August.

The fireworks show and contest will be held for the second time on 14 August 2010 in Pattaya, Chon Buri. The highlight includes the musical fireworks in the sea put together by firework specialists from 11 countries who will also be taking part in the contest such as from Italy, UAE, China and Thai firework club. The event will start at 19.30 hrs with 15-20 minutes of each show.

Meanwhile, the celebration activity held by the Finance Ministry at the Royal Plaza and Ambara Garden to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit on her birthday anniversary under the theme of ‘Power of Love, Mother of the Land’ will continue until 15 August, featuring several performances and firework shows.

Traffic around Town was a pain in the behind but sure this event is good for the local Businesses. Lets just hope there will be no Rainstorm going on, then I will enjoy it from my Balcony in Jomtien.
