Renting Vacant Land

Featured Replies

Am looking to rent some vacant land.....Nothing happening on it & it's precisely located where it needs to be for the business idea I have in mind.

It's approx 10 rai & is doing nothing aside from growing grass at the moment.

No for sale signs on it & rental of vacant land seems to be an uncommon idea here.

Anyhow, does anybody have any suggestions on how to locate the owner?

Location is just off of Sukhumvit in Ban Ampur south of Jomtien.

Thanks,

Jay

Go to the local land office for the amphur the land is in. Give them the location and they should be able to assist you. You may need a realtor or attorney. Your idea that land is not rent out is false. It is leased out all the time and is on register at all land offices.

OK. Will give that a shot.

Yeah I'm sure they rent vacant land here. They sure don't advertise it very well though...at least not in English.

Thanks for the tip.

You will probably find that a great deal of the "vacant land" south of Jomtien and around Ambassador City is owned either by the son of a VIP or by the son of an absent ex-VIP. Neither is short of money!
