Featured Replies

I am considering ordering some photographic bits and pieces from the US likely value about $1000 USD. Anyone any idea what sort of amount I am likely to pay on import duty? many thanks

For a 250 Us $ item from B&H Photo by UPS I paid about 800 Baht of Custom duties (to the UPS man with custom receipt)

Hi,

Any update on this topic? I'm considering ordering some exotic second-hand lenses on eBay and wondered what was the exact import duty for photography gear.

The Thai customs' tariff database doesn't mention anything under the following item: 90.06 Photographic (other than cinematographic) cameras; photographic flashlight apparatus and flashbulbs other than discharge lamps of heading 85.39.

Thanks! :)

I bought some diving equipment in the US a while ago. I had them delivered to an hotel where a friend were staying. He then bring them back to Bangkok. No tax, no custom duties paid.
