New Wreck Dive Coming To Tao

Featured Replies

Those divers who have been here a while and especially the technical guys will all know the MV Trident. Based on Tao it has been the best technical live aboard in the Gulf IMHO. :D Well it has been decommissioned at Chumphon and the owners have decided to donate it to the dive operators association of Tao. It is to be sunk next month in around 35 metres of water at Aow Leuk,Koh Tao so the bridge and deck will be in around 25 metres. Ideal for advanced.Access points have been cut into the hull to make access and egress easy and safe. I will post the full up to date details later when I have them. There is to be a fund raising Hacyenda ( like the old Manchester party days ) evening at the bowling alley on Koh Taoto go towards the cost of preparing and cleaning the vessel prior to sinking. All welcome :D Again more details later

Something else to offer the divers here can't be a bad thing, especially at the moment. :)

there should be more of these, not only around tao but samui as well. cleaned and prepared properly they only offer advantages to sea and land dwellers.
