OC has twinkly eyes. I remember from that "post a pic of yourself" thread a few years ago. So he is not grumpy. Or maybe just sometimes.

Definately grumpy at the moment and the eyes have bearly been opened for the last week as I've been laid low by a dose of denque.(self diagnosed)

Everyone keeps saying "go to hospital, go to hospital", they don't understand I'm too sick to do that.

I had a 'fluey thingy a couple of weeks ago.

Too ill to go to the clinic (twenty minutes by taxi) so I self-medicated with Panadol and Chivas. Didn't help the 'flu, but I relaxed a little.

When I could get to the clinic the doctors gave me a sick-chit and told me to go away. That cost me one million two hundred thousand (dong)(about 60 dollars US). But I lost four days pay, which is one 'elluva lot more

I'm over the worst of it, I'm at the weak as a kitten stage and thinking about resuming eating again.

I've definately stayed hydrated sbk, I'm sure I've drunk several hundred gallons of water in the last week or so!

I thought of having a go at your methods Humph, but all I have in the house is some red label. (My black label seems to have evaporated somehow - I'll take that up with the little lady when I don't need her any more! )

glad to hear you are getting better, dengue is a nasty one and its really bad this year. I had it when I first came all those years ago and now, apparently, if I get it again it will be the dangerous kind. Great. something to look forward to, hemorrhagic dengue fever

Actually, it seems that those here commenting missed my point point entirely. I was talking about a thaivisa advertisement telling people to check the toolbar, The guy holding the banner looked like a grumpy Moses. I guess I was being too subtle.

The banners on Thai Visa are called 'Moderators', Ian.

He looked more like a Victorian politician (Queen, not state) in my opinion. Moses had a very bushy beard last time I spoke to him - when I gave him those stone tablets. Full of sand it was, though.

I haven't seen that particular banner ad for quite a while, so maybe it's gone. it used to pop up all the time when I logged onto a topic. If I wasn't signed on the ads were annoying because they overlap a topic to a point where they appear to be part of a reply.
