Help Setting Up Imac

Featured Replies

I need someone to set up a dual boot environment on an imac. running

- Windows 7

- Parallels on OSX

I want Office and a number of other windows programs installed on both environments so that I can work in the same windows environment regardless of which OS I boot into.

The dealer set up the bootcamp basics, but have been unable to install the windows applications properly. The windows environment has a ton of problems such as speakers not working, office and adobe not installing.

I just want the damm thing to work, as its just a pretty paperweight at the moment.

If you have real experience in doing this, please contact me and let me know what yoyu will charge to get this working for me. Experience in setting up macs so that they can be managed on a windows network would be great. Windows provides a group policy so that we can control what can be run on the computers. How can we secure our macs in a similar way

Hi

I have installed parralells and windows 7 on my Mac book with no problem at all

U should not have used bootcamp

I would uninstall it all and start again bypassing the option to use bootcamp

Or if it is possible if u have backed it all up before they messed it up restore before that time

Or reformat and start over

Parralells guide to installation is very good.

Hope this may help a bit

U can contact me by private message if wish

But am no expert though

If your still having problems, message me I have over 20 years experience on Macintosh, and Windows.
