Hello everyone!! I have a Filipina gf who will travel for the first time in Thailand next month. I am here to make things sure and ask some questions to gather some info about Thailand. She is from Cebu and I booked everything including the flight ticket its a return ticket and hotel reservation. We knew each other for almost two years and we met many times already in Cebu and for now we just wanted to travel in Thailand. I will the first one to arrive in Bangkok and I will be waiting for her in the airport.

All she need is passport, tickets and what else??

Please help me.

Thanks a lot to you guys!! :)

You don't say how long your friend will stay in Thailand. No visa required if she has a flight out of Thailand within 30 days from arrival. Only passport, ticket and -- hardly ever asked for on arrival in Thailand -- the equivalent of 20,000 Baht for spending money.

P.S. Sorry, ana07cutiepie, your original topic got inexplicably hung in limbo, wherefore I have started this new topic.

Any problem is more likely to be with Philippine immigration and her exiting the Philippines than than entering Thailand. Single girl travelling alone may well raise red flag at Cebu. Would suggest, as a minimum, you provide her with a letter of invitation for her trip. Others members may add more.

Hello Sir,

She is not my friend, she is my girlfriend. She will be staying for 13days in Thailand. And I will pay everything for her while she's in Thailand. Will the immigration will ask her if where she will be staying and if so will they ask for proof?

Thanks a lot :)

as thaipoon already mentioned , it is most likely, that the Philipine Immigration might asked a lot of question and it is common that Filipinos have to show money , up to USD 500.-.

Thai Immigration is no problem , but please prepare the return ticket for her.
