I pay Vietnamese income tax already - and there is no dual-taxation agreement with the EU. There may be one with UK, but I doubt it.

My commiserations. Just hope they don't hire anyone to study the workings of the the California Franchise Tax Board. The most rapacious taxation authority on earth.

I also pay Vietnamese tax but have declared myself non-resident so don't care what the UK or the EUSSR do.

But yes, the time will come when the Eurocrats will be able to Euronate on anyone they choose. Hopefully by then I shall reside in that little corner of some foreign field that is forever home.
