Nice Swimming Pools In Cha Am

Featured Replies

I'll be in Cha Am this week for a few days and after having just read the pinned jellyfish thread, maybe I'll stick to swimming in a pool?? Are there many jellyfish in the water at the moment?

Any way I'm staying at the Golden Guest House which as far as I know, does not have a pool. Can anyone recommend some nice hotels in the area where we can go and swim during the day? I have a 1 year old child that loves to go in the swimming pool, so just trying to get an idea in advance. I did see a recommendation for Baan Panthai as a place to stay and the pool looks very nice. Do most of the hotels in the area allow non-guests to use the hotel facilities (for a fee of course)?

Thanks in advance.

Last time I checked, the Baan Panthai did not allow non-guests to use its swimming pool. They do accept guests from the Ban Lan Suan boutique resort, though, as it is the same management. The Ban Lan Suan is not far from the Golden guesthouse and less expensive than the Baan Panthai, so it could be an option. But make sure you check the swimming pool policy beforehand, as my information may be out of date.

This is jellyfish season and there are many in the water (and stranded on the beach by the tides) at the moment.
