46 year old man accused of sexually assaulting 10 year old girl in Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A 46 year old Thai Man has been arrested following an alleged sexual assault on a 10 year old girl. Police Colonel Somnook, the Chief of Banglamung Police received a report from the Paradise Bungalows, located in Pong Municipality of the alleged assault which took place, just after daybreak on Sunday. At the scene, Khun Bangee aged 46 was arrested while his 10 year old victim was taken for a medical examination.

I do not know if this guy is innocent or guilty.

My personal view is that anyone found guilty of this type of crime - especially if it is against children - should go to jail for a very long time. No amnesties.

In jail - they should be left alone for a while with some other inmates that are fathers of young children. Hopefully these other inmates would convince them not to re-offend and show them the error of their ways.

I am just glad to see that from the reporting in the article, that this does not look like a case of the 'guardian' of the child trying to make a quick buck! That crime is more heinous.
