Hi all

can anyone recommend a decent bar in BKK to watch the Ryder cup. I know most bars will have it on, but when the football starts on Sat/Sun they will show that and I really want to have a good session watching the singles on Sunday:rolleyes:

where is that ?

On Mun Mueanug east side of the old city just across from DK book store. Best English breakfast in town and the rest of the food is outstanding.

Go to The UN Irish Pub, they have three big TV's and HD, so can cater for three different sports in different rooms

I'm pretty sure the golf will be on the biggest screen.

Great Fish and Chips.

huh.gif That's what happens when you have a laptop and watch golf at the same time.

Europe are 3 up - play suspended 'cause the poor American's couldn't drop their balls on a dry spot. mad.gif

If they didn't hit them in the water in the first place, there wouldn't be a problem. whistling.gif

try the londoner on suk 33 or the robin hood. the londoner has a good eat all you can three course buffet on a sunday, plus it shows all major sporting events and should have a good contingent of football fans in seeing as chelski are playing the arsenal in the london derby. likewise the robin hood just up the road has a good all day breakfast and menu and pro mos on all drinks including happy hour. there are a couple of other pubs and sporting venues in the area within walking distance if you fancy a change of scenery half way through close to asoke or just off soi cowboy. being close to the bts you can always hop on and venture down towards nana where the atmoshphere might be more to your liking in one of the many bars that are showing the footie if the ryder cup is already done and dusted.
