Here you go for live and free F1. +4Mb line recommended though.

www.atdhe.net and www.atdhe.fm

Thank you for the link. Great for all CBS series, but the ESPN is American, and full of football with no programming of F1 that I can find.

I wish I had not renewed my subscription now that Hallmark has gone. :annoyed:

No more friday night repeats of repeats of repeats of Midsommer Murders :ermm:

Although I had seen the all before I just used to get a little nostalgic as they did a lot of filming near places where I used to live.

Also means no more Doc Martin :(

You can still watch old episodes of Oprah and follow The Biggest Loser. sad.gif

Not forgetting hours of back to back The Nanny repeats. John Logie Baird would be proud. biggrin.gif

Well the Biggest loser will be them, I nearly did not bother renewing after they cancelled BBC Prime last June but now there will be absolutely no British stuff on there except for films and documentaries

bye bye Truevisions :bah:

Will see if I can dig you out all four seasons of Doc Martin I have on DVD somewhere :)

I'm currently watching the new Spooks Ser.9, George Gently ser.3 (Martin Shaw) and a whole host of old and brand-spanking new stuff from UK TV in HD or otherwise. All the old comedy series, dramas etc, etc...and Doc Martin.:D All BBC/ITV sport programmes and live events.

How? Easy, download the torrents from The Box and UK Nova - to mention two, (free) drop them (+/- 4-6 shows) onto your 4-8 GB USB flash drive (250 Baht +) as an AVI file shove it into your dvd player's (600 Baht+) USB port and Bob's yer uncle! Both picture and audio perfect. When finished, delete and reload. True Vision, eat yer heart out!!

PM me if you need to know more. :)

Cheers,

TB

Spooks, better than all most American telefilms. George Gently very interesting, but also Inspector Lewis, Survivors, and Keith Branagh in Wallander.

The English TV is the best in the world.

(I'm not English).

And UBC cut the BBC entertainment channel.

I have to agree......

Spooks

Waking the Dead

Silent witness

New Tricks

Just to name a few of the current shows, let alone the past series...Brilliant.

Downloading is the only way to go these days for quality.

Montenegro v England game on UBC Wed morning 2 am.

It's stuff like the above; European qualifiers, fantastic premier league coverage, La Liga, Serie A, F1, Boxing, Baseball and NFL that keeps me hooked into it. I wish you could just rent the sports package and nothing else.

The Supranos, Mad Men, Dexter, the Wire, the Shield, Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Sons of Anarchy... and so on.

There are plenty of great British AND American TV shows. :whistling:

I used to like Cheers and I think Friends is just great.

However, I did prefer The Rifleman, Gunsmoke and Have Gun Will Travel. rolleyes.gif

Truevision

Absolutely perfect if you're a sports addict or an American teenage girl!

Not much for all us old buggers out here though!

Shame about BBC prime. I only keep it for the Premiership and the F1

My wife NEVER watches Thai soaps, so that's a blessing. (but her current favourite

is America/Australia/Britain's next top model, which isn't!)

Chuck Connors, James Arness and Richard Boone...all great! I liked Wild Wild West and The Man From Uncle too!

True gave me back my Deposit. Years ago I paid 4k to get onboard. 2k of it is deposit and 2 K for installation and start up fee's.

I cancelled and got my 2k back in the form of a check. Cleared no problem. They are on the up and up.. Nothing to worry about other than their poor programming and product value.

I can get most everything I would want online and mostly free.
