My experience so far (with the exception of sex involving an immediate financial transaction of course) is that Thai women are just generally plain vanilla in the sack. I dated somewhere around 15 farang women in the US (west coast, if that matters), and most of them were up for, to varying degrees, pretty much anything you would see in a mainstream porn movie (use your imagination).

Now, if you take a girl out of a gogo she is trained and paid to perform, so disregard any of those experiences. Regular girlfriends I've had here, no matter how creative I try to be, just don't seem to have a sense of eroticism. Just trying to get a simple BJ out of them is like pulling teeth (I have good hygiene, before you interject). Foreplay is not reciprocated. And the insistance on shower first, and shower after, and covering up with towel ("I shy!") just takes all the fun out of it for me. Admittedly, I'm using a sample size of only 5 (non-paid) women, so maybe I just haven't hit the jackpot yet.

Of course, as far accommodation outside the bedroom goes, the thai girls win hands down. When it comes down to it, I would rather have the cooking, cleaning, back rubs, etc, for the other 23 hours a day. I'm just curious if other farang have had a similar experience here.

Can't speak about women, but as a generality I think it is obvious that Thais in general are much more into VANILLA SEX than westerners in general. Don't even get me started about the Japanese though, they must be among the kinkiest nationality on earth.

Hah, I'm in pretty much the same boat--almost the same ages, engaged, but no date set yet. It's gotten to the point where presented with the choice between the same old 30 minute sex ritual or a 5 minute wank, I'll take the wank! me too, same ages, both in our 30s everything is great but yeah a wank is better

According to the OED, people have been kinky since 1898 but until 1959 that appears to have meant they were a little eccentric. Absolute Beginners, the book by Colin MacInnes that was made into a film, was the first recorded use of the word as meaning sexually adventurous. If anyone has evidence of earlier usage, the etymologists want to hear from them.
