I would like to get good smoked mackeral and proper butchers sauasages - oh and decent sirloin steak.

Hi Grant,

When you start to do all this remember to tell us all. What I would give now for a nice Lorne sausage and a good roll???????. If you come to Udon I'm sure you will make money.

I'm not sure about getting lorne sausage - do they have the same grade of wood shavings here than we can get back home :o

I can make pretty good sausage rolls (making puff pastry is quite a feat when it's 35 degrees)also can do decent bagels, danish and a pretty good chocolate cake.

I agree with the guys who feel no need to eat farang food to a point, but if you can make it yourself at minimal cost then why not? You've gotta do something during the day. If any NE scotland people are interested I can make rowies as well. I'm in Issan a week on thursdau - so just give us a shout!

Well good news and bad news at least for me. I stopped by Harry's bar yesterday and someone is in the process of opening a farrang market in Udon now.

I doubt that there is a sufficient customer base to support two. I'm going to follow up and try to find where and when and pass that information on. I understand he is european so I will ask he stock some foods us Yankees like. If he does then I will give him my support, and wish him well.

Dom stop that bragging LOL
