Elderly British National Dies Swimming off Pattaya Beach

PATTAYA: -- An elderly British man has died while swimming in the Pattaya Bay on Saturday afternoon. The man, pulled from the water by fellow tourists, is thought to have died of natural causes.

Pattaya, the 9th of October 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 2:30pm on Saturday, Sawang Boriboon Foundation rescue services were notified of a foreign mans death in the Pattaya Bay, opposite Soi 13/2 (Soi Post Office).

The incident was immediately reported to Lieutenant Colonel Norawitch Jullawanit (Pattaya Police Investigator) who attended the scene to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
