Notice the thumbs up/thumbs down Praise Greens/Condemns Reds in the comments section?

Cool, huh?

I missed the feature you mentioned on that site because I was distracted by the racist, conspiracy theory-type bigotry of the post! <deleted> is that site about? That has to be the second biggest waste of my online time ever!

My feeling is that the site is SATIRE of how ridiculous right wing Christian American fundamentalists are. Chilean Mexicans, indeed. At least it reads that way. Bottom of the page -- the comments with the POST ONLY voting feature.

Hmm, it would be slightly more comforting to see it as satire I suppose. However, I'm not convinced. Aaaanyway, I see what you're talking about but wouldn't the same people who were just handing out reds on here just hand out 'condemn' votes for the sake of it too? I know, I know it's not the poster but the post but I saw the rep feature the same way really, post not the poster.

All in all not much different really apart from the fact that it, presumably, doesn't show up on your profile as some kind of total.

I must admit to feeling not all that bothered if the feature doesn't come back at all in any form :)

Me either, but you've got to admit that's a "funny" site and also if some kind approval/disapproval feature does come back, I think this is better to keep the peace.

I like to think of it as a comparison between Carlsberg Green cans and McEwand Export Red cans. Aluminy versus irony - multimationalism versus imperialism, Export versus Export...

I understand where you're coming from but I just don't find people like that funny at all, one of my friends likes those radio phone in shows where the jocks will say something 'controversial' to get people to phone in. He rolls about laughing whereas I want to smash the radio

Stupidity annoys me, I wish it didn't but there it is :)

I think some kind of approval/disagreement feature would be good, I kinda liked the old one but seeing as it was abused/disliked by so many I don't have a fervent desire for its return. It was nice to see who agreed/disagreed with my posts, it encouraged me to read theirs when I perhaps otherwise wouldn't have.
