The first ever song/video played on MTV

I won a t-shirt on Samui for shouting that out...

That is truly awful. I don't think it's even a matter of what decade you happened to be born in. I think most anyone would agree. Thankfully there have been some better ones since.

Sorry, got to sleep.

That last one was a mistake, it was supposed to be whatever!!

Take care.

  • 2 weeks later...

Another one popped into my head on the tube today as I headed east from Bond St.....it was the leather trousers I think.....

Two very different yet very 80's tracks

Good looking...And Scottish....

We can all say that...

SC

The 80's sticks out in my mind as the worst decade for music in my lifetime. I know there will be some exceptions, like Dylan's "Time Out Of Mind" and Los Lobos "La Pistola" and U2's "Joshua Tree", which were brilliant, but man was there was a lot of shit pumped out back then .

Well I'd luv to hear your take on the crap they are pumping out these days, fark, makes the 80ies look kinda really special.

I must also mentioned that I was especially striking in the 80ies, with my winkle pickers, leather jacket and slick hair.......the ladies couldnt get enough of me......I vaguely recall my keg was only a six pack, back then  . Keep ur fekkin negative comments to urself, ulot. :annoyed:

Hey, that's the "Wild Thing" band, ain't it? Hard to believe if so.

In the '80s I wasn't working as a waitress in a cocktail bar, I was washing dishes in a basement cafe, but I don't know any songs about that...
