Australian Drunk Driver Found Well Over Legal Limit

PATTAYA: -- An Australian National was arrested after being caught up in a row resulting from his dangerous driving due to his seriously intoxicated state in Pattaya.

Pattaya, 23rd October 2010 [PDN] At 4.30 am. while Police Major Suppharuek U-phrai (Pattaya Police Chief Inspector) and his team were patrolling the area of South Pattaya 3rd Road at the fourth intersection, they observed a dispute between a foreigner and Thai motorists which led them to investigate the incident.

On questioning of the Thai Mr. Phornthep Soraya (35) from Phayoa stated that he was riding his white-black Honda Wave motorbike along 3rd Road towards South Pattaya, when a Toyota Fortuner driven by a foreigner who appeared to be seriously intoxicated, swerved suddenly catching his motorbikes’ right mirror, causing him to lose control and almost colliding with a taxi car driving along side.

I noticed that too, I was wondering if due to the reflective paint on the plate and the camera flash, that it came out looking yellow instead of red.

..play the video clip and you will see it is red (new vehicle awaiting registration..another offence ie driving it after dusk)..hmm gets worse and worse..from a simple case of clipping his mirror..due to his state of intoxication he probably didn't realise he clipped him..now a major incident seeing as he didn't stop.
