The taps in my house, on the sinks, are moving continually. It is very difficult to have access to the nut, that fits underneath the sink/basin, to steady the tap. I know in the west on can buy/get a spanner that fits - underneath the sink - on the nut and hence can turn the tap to fit it. It looks more like a key than a spanner. However have not seen it for sale in Thailand as yet. I hope somebody can show me in the right direction as where to get it. Or are there any other ways one can tighten this particular - difficult to reach with a normal spanner - nut? Thanks! PS From Chiang Mai.

I am including pict. re reference said spanner.

I believe I’ve seen a suitable tool in Global House, though not of the type you have illustrated; more like a screwdriver but with an open spanner at the tip.

The second image is similar to the one I’ve seen recently, I believe in Global House Nakhon Sawan branch.

Hi, having been around and visiting numerous places, still not the wiser and just cannot get hold of said spanner. Anyway, it's apparently called a "crowfoot wrench" So there you go... Found a website that lists them, in Thai

http://www.kennedythailand.com/products_sec_gp_brand_model_de.php?pro_id=452

Maybe of interest and will try to see if they can supply somehow/somewhere. If any of you know about where to get said wrench in the meantime, please met me/us know.

I purchased this basin wrench two days ago – 330 baht at Global House, Nakhon Sawan. I did not see a crowfoot wrench there.

Actually this is the tool needed for the "dancing taps"

Back Spanner Basin Wrench

Indeed, this was the one I was looking for. I ordered it from Phatanasin; 350 baht plus 100 Baht delivery costs - will take one month as they are out of stock at the moment. Lets see what happens. Thanks for all the replies.
