Pattaya Lady-Boy Blinded By Bogus Doctors

Two katoeys posing as doctors conned another lady boy out of Bt3,000 after giving her facial silicone injections, ostensibly to enhance her beauty. Instead the injections caused severe facial swelling and made her blind in one eye.

Pattaya, November 14, [PDN]: A lady-boy, conned into having silicone injections to make her face more attractive by bogus medical practitioners, ended up blind due to the incompetence of the fakers. Attending a genuine clinic, the victim was told by the doctor that the silicone had actually been injected into the blood vessel and had caused a blockage of the blood pathway causing her to go blind.

The victim, Ms Nopparat Ampanun, [23] originally from Nakornpanom province, filed a complaint against the bogus pair with Pol.Lt.Col. Patsa Detpakkul, Pattaya police investigator, at 1am this morning, Nov14.

two katoey doctors!! wouldn't that raise a few alarms in the victim's mind?

My thought exactly.

A Katoey pharmacist I can see easily, since the closest one to here is,

but also properly trained and in a legitimate pharmacy chain.

I know a woman who wanted a nose job and let a katoey inject boiled chicken cartilage

onto the bridge of her nose. The rot caused by the infection lost her much of her nasal cartilage,

it was pretty nauseating to see, and she was nice lady, just very gullible and a little vain.

I tried hard not to say I told you so.

just very gullible and a little vain.

Sums it up in a nut shell...

The victim was a katoey!

Wonder what they actually injected the poor girl/guy with, since I'd think it highly doubtful that they used medical-grade silicon... more likely, something from the local hardware supply store.

Probably not..
