Stickman writes a weekly column and has done so for years. It is not easy grinding out an interesting story every week, week after week. His last one has little to do with bars and entertainment. Stick says he is tired of bars and tired about writing about bars. I can understand that. It only took me a couple of years. I stopped going to bars 4 years ago.

Last week he wrote a story about a bar girl investigation. I assume everyone know Stickman investigates women for men who want to marry them. He investigates mostly ex bar girls who have told their new Falang they have gone straight and don't fool around with other men anymore.

The part of his last column that I found interesting was the reaction of the lady he was investigating.

Bar girls develop a code of conduct and will proudly tell their friends, “I don't sleep with anyone for free.” They also apply this code to men and revel in purchasing young Thai men to sleep with and mock their co workers for not indulging in this female pay for play activity.

But having said that there is a time in a negotiation with a bar girl when after drinks and foreplay in the bar that a man can tell, the lady is horny. She wants sex. If anything goes wrong at that stage of the game she will become angry. I think everyone knows the steps. Ask dumb questions, make small talk, buy a couple of drinks maybe more, fondling and kissing maybe dancing and then the offer, how much and off to the hotel.

Investigating these girls is a thrill.  You're sitting there, chatting the girl up, often playing the dumb tourist.  She thinks you're the latest sex-crazed moron to fall off the plane while you already know a considerable amount about her.  You buy her drinks and compliment her.  You're playing with her, warming her up before you start gently probing, questioning, all very deliberate, all working towards a goal.  It's not that different to picking someone up - you have to get her to like her.  You agree with most everything she says and gently allow her to lead the conversation, smiling, showing interest and sprinkling compliment after compliment.  Her English is great.  Her eyes are beautiful.  Her skin is soft and radiant.  You know you're on the right track when she holds eye contact a little longer, when she starts to play with her hair and most importantly, when everyone around you seems to become invisible to her and she only has eyes for you.

Everything was in English – which worked because her English was very good, a sure sign she had been around the block.  You start with the innocuous stuff, the inane questions - where she comes from, how old she is, and express interest in her family.  You tell her how nice Thai people are and how you adore the food.  It's all complete <deleted>, of course, but you're playing a role and building rapport. 

Being a gentleman is a big part of it.  You talk about your hotel and gently suggest that the room is big...too big for just one.  Her eyes are glowing, she's playing with her hair and she takes a hit of the wine.  You haven't been direct, but there's no doubt what you were alluding to.  She appreciates the approach.  You order her another wine.  Like most Thai women, she doesn't handle it well.  She's not just willing to go with you, she's reached the point where she's now dead keen.  She wants to leave the bar with you.  She wants you.  It's no longer about the money.  She wants it.  She's become putty in your hands and you've got her right where you want her.

In my experience that is the truth. That is one difference between here and the west.

I can't say that is true in most cases. It MIGHT be true where the guy is a young, handsome dude, but not for the average, over weight man of advanced years (50 +). And, a lot depends on how often the woman has been active the previous few days. It's been my experience EVERYWHERE, that women are not much different than men. If they've over indulged in sex previously, then they really aren't into it again and again. There are exceptions of course, and I know some VERY active ladies, but most of the time the Thai woman isn't a lot different than a woman from any country.

I have been there once, during the day. A friend of mine swears by the place. Needless to say, it's better than anyplace I saw on Samui.

Culture conditions women to enjoy or not enjoy sex. I think it would be naive to assume that all women enjoy sex equally. Check the statistics for orgasms and multiple orgasms and difficulty having orgams by country in some countries 63% difficulty. A brain scanning study showed that many areas of women's brains were deactivated during orgasm, including those involved in emotion. The effect was less striking in men, but that may be because male orgasms are so short they are hard to detect in a brain scan.

I would partially disagree with that statement. I've had too much experience to believe differently. Prior to ever being married I was with many beautiful women who used sex as a bartering tool. They came across like sex on a stick, but, when it actually came down to it, they weren't really into the act at all. And, I'm not talking about Thai hookers. I'm talking about normal, everyday gals in North America that I knew in my twenties.

By contrast I've known some women who can't get enough sex. Some of those gals were chubby and not particularly attractive, but they had men calling them continually. I have a friend who is married to what I would call an unattractive woman, but my friend has told me she's a hurricane in bed. That is precisely what has kept them together for 15 years. I've told many women that if they want to keep their man faithful then screw his brains out and he'll be too tired to look elsewhere.

Then of course, there is the abhorrent practise of female circumcision. None of those women can enjoy sex... and neither can their husbands... other than as a form of rape.

I think she was a friend of my third wife. It was a great party till she ate the cake. I ate it too and it didn't change my sex drive at all. Funny that. Must be like Viagra only works for one gender (not counting lady boys).

That would actually be a great topic. Does wedding cake effect lady boys too?
