Caught With His Pants Down! Google Street View Snaps Bizarre Shot Of German Man Lying Naked In His Car Boot

Featured Replies

A German man has become the butt of internet jokes after a Google Street View camera snapped him apparently climbing into the boot of a car completely naked.

The baffling picture shows the nud_e man in the boot of a Mercedes which is parked on the driveway of a house in Mannheim, south-west Germany.

A dog appears to be lying lifeless on the driveway surrounded by the contents of the sports car's boot.

article-1332219-0C2EE20D000005DC-376_634x286.jpg Bizarre: This unexplained image has amused and confused internet users

It is unknown whether the man is sporting a pair of skin-coloured shorts, as has been suggested by amused internet dwellers, but a number of other theories have been put forward too.

One Internet user told the CNET website he thought it was just 'an illusion' with the man wearing shorts and fixing the brake light on the Mercedes while the dog was just basking in sun.

The story behind the surreal situation is unknown and Google has removed the image from its Street View website, which only went live in Germany at the beginning of the month.

Yeah they have my brother-in-law in front of his house on a cell phone.

I wonder if eventually someone will ask to be removed?

How does google get around broadcasting folks pictures without consent? Or their driveway/homes for that matter.

At least here (USA) they do blot out the license plate numbers on cars in garages

Edit: I see you can in fact possibly? get yours removed...

Is he looking for a Hamster ?

( That's what I told that nice policeman last time I was found in the boot naked )

But then that nice policeman had just put you in there, after the rugby club piss-up.

It doesn't look like a "street-view" picture to me, hence (in my mind) the follow-up statement, "Google has since removed the picture".....hoax alert.

Was that the Daily Mail again?

So what was the real reason? You can tell us.

I agree, NOT a street view pic.

Camera is too high.

Like it.

I thought Google did most of their street capture early on Sunday mornings.

So they're all on the way to church?

Do Google lay those < and > signs out before they drive around the block? And pick 'em up again afterwards?

I'd like a few of those, when setting a Hash trail.

C'mon Humph, you know better than that.........LOL.

Mind you, it would be great for events like "Hash House" to have them on mobile devices, nobody missing the final destination.

Flat batteries and ya lost ,,,,,,,,, he he he

Save lotsa scraps of paper, we used the old interleaved JEYES type toilet paper.

Is that like a trail of breadcrumbs, but for dope heads?

Usually use shredder paper or flour. Sometimes just chalk signs.

One trail I laid in Indonesia - dam_n good one too - was with paper from the office shredder. Laid it in the morning, when we came to run it in the afternoon we found that the ever-industrious villagers had had a tidy-up day. No trail left - enter one live hare.

(Took 'em round some rotten jungle that day :w00t: )

This thread's about people caught out by google street view.

I posted a well publizied series featuring an old guy pulling up to connect with a couple of hookers.

What happens? You guys are fascinated by the directional markers put on the video shots by google, and turn it into a discussion on markers for hash house harriers! :o

OIB.

and with NZers

OIB? Only In Bedlam, I guess. That's the first time I've seen that particular TLA.

Here's another street view shot:

Subsequently exposed as a setup.

Well, i hope they don't come round my way.

They've been around my way twice, last about 18 months ago..

Patsy, ya sure they haven't been your way?

My old plac in Melbourne has been done so long ago, all changed IRL, but not on Google.

I've looked at the first picture again. That dog is faking it.
