Staff Terrorised As Two Gunmen Raid 7-11 Store

2 gunmen threatened staff and stole cash from a Seven Eleven minimart in Nongplalai, Banglamung, making their getaway on a motorbike.

Pattaya, 1 December 2010 (PDN): At approximately 03.20 am Banglamung Police were notified of a robbery at a Seven Eleven mini mart in front of Atthaphorn Village’s entrance, Soi Nongketyai, Moo9, Nongplalai, Banglamung. A team of officers under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent Lieutenant Colonel Supphachut Piummanat was dispatched to investigate.

At the scene, four staff members (3 male and 1 female) were awaiting their arrival in a clearly frightened state. One of the staff, Mr. Thanakhom Kasemsuk [24], stated that before the incident occurred, he and some colleagues were working on the shelves while a female member of staff was taking care of the cashier counter.
