For lovers of Christmas...the music.....fun .....and Santa Claus.......:)

Please post your favourite tunes here for us all to enjoy.....Merry Christmas!!! :) :)

As for Neverdie/Scrooge....start yer own thread....Bah Humbug! :P

December 6th.

Saint Nikolas' Day.

Prezzie day in many parts of Eastern Europe.

I like this idea - have prezzies today - have more prezzies on Diwali (any Indian readers can tell us when?) - have even more prezzies on Christmas Eve - others on Christmas Day - then switch to Russian Orthodox or Spanish (Tres Reyes) on 6th January.

Keep the stores in business. Be multicultural.

Yes, let's all get into the spirit of Christmas. Note my yuletide avatar.

Because it's nearly Christmas, I got really drunk last night. I intend to keep it up until New year, then I'll start getting drunk for Easter. So much beer, so little time.

when I was about 9-10 y/o I was present when a big white teen aged neighbor who was a racist bully cornered a small armenian neighbor and made him sit on the street corner of our neighborhood in Pasadena and sing Jingle Bells...the kid was in tears with humiliation...

then suddenly...another neighbor appeared who was a known bad ass and confronted the bully and sent the armenian kid home, he backed down the bully with a glare and didn't haveta choose off...he owned the neatest 55 chevy convertible I ever saw with scavenger pipes and chrome rims...

he was a neighborhood hero...:)

it ain't Dickens but what the hell...

merry xmas and happy holidays, folks...

Bah humbug. Haven't had a Christmas in the US since 1991. Wouldn't mind having one, but its damn cold and it snows where my family lives so, there you go. Its just not the same in Thailand. And maybe not the same in the US anymore, but I have a close family and without family, its kinda pointless. Same with Thanksgiving.

Well, I still think more of you good folk should get into the spirit of things and put up some seasonal avatars. Bags could put a star on his snout, Pete could put some tinsel around his twitching eye, SBK's whip could have some mistletoe hovering over the top of it, and Limpy could get his coat adorned with some nicely coloured flashing lights and a balloon or two; you get the idea...

E: Typo - Bah, humbug!

hmm... mistletoe and the whip. Now THERES an image!

you with me, hon...ain't had neither (to include Thanksgiving) in the US since the late 80s...

a weird combination of sadness and relief...but my family was dysfunctional and not close like yours...
