Some hope!! Their cheapest rate is 1500baht per day for a small car.

These people do a Honda Jazz for 1000 baht per day. I don't find them particularly pleasant to deal with but 1000baht's a good price.

As always, go over the car microscopically with them while they mark the dents and scratches and check the petrol guage to make sure its full.

They are based, very conveniently, at the top end of Thappae Road very near Art Cafe

You'll struggle with that budget unless you get a crappy Caribian (or similar).

Don't listen to the above; he's got a thing for Northwheels - did a fairly new Avanza in December for 1200, phone or email them. Have tried the above suggestion and the cars delivered were a rough ride (putting low profile tyres on a City on these roads?) not to mention delivered late! Not great for a company that is 5mins from the hotel. In comparison, Northwheels have always delivered on time, usually early.
