Can anybody tell me the price of the Bose V-35 lifestyle system here in Thailand.

Double the US price. Bose products here are ridiculous in Thailand.

For example Bose Lifestyle 235 (Which is awesome btw) is 126,000THB here in BKK. Can be got for around US$2200 in US

Better and cheaper to fly to HK buy the lifestyle put it in a suitcase bring it back. You will still have a huge saving even after paying for the flight and the hotel in HK

That's my thinking exactly. Currently working in Pakistan and can buy the V-35 for around 3,500U$. Will bring it in my suitcase and take a chance through the green lane at Swampy.

Bose store in Kowloon (Harbour city) in HK is well used to it and they even know the shop to get the appropriate sized case very cheap and will go with you there and pack the system into the case with padding etc.

It's a heavy old case tho

Most airlines do not like any one piece of luggage to weigh more than 30kg.

Bose lifestyle in a suitcase is around 25kg-28kg.

Speakers could go in hand luggage also and probably get it down to 22kg or so.
