Featured Replies

Anyone know what is happening? Bo Sang/ Doi Saket road is closed at Bo Sang tonight Market stalls all over the roads.

Worth going tonight?

Only if you enjoy a madhouse. The Bo Sang Umbrella Festival is always worth a go at least once.

It can't be worse then the Sunday walking market .... can it?

IMHO on par.

Similar at night but pretty laid back during the day last year. Not much going on during my daytime trip though, just relaxed shopping and snacking.

Just been there, it was great, not crowded at all.

They had a live band and a big stage, singers, dancing girls, lot of fun.

Pretty girls in shorts everywhere.

Well worth the trip, bought a Kingston urdrive 32gb for 499bht, seems to work.

Agreed, went down there tonight and very calm and relaxed, not busy at all. Nowhere near as busy as an average Walking Street market evening.

Quite a nice atmosphere.

Last night tonight

The stage opposite the wat (about 2km from the crossroads towards Doi Saket) has dancing girls and singers, well worth a look.

Down a side road (neons all the way) is another big stage with a rock band of some sort.

Another rock band at the main crossroads, beyond the market area.

Well worth the trip, bought a Kingston urdrive 32gb for 499bht, seems to work.

Just curious, I saw the same ones being sold by several vendors but they were priced at 599. Did you get them to drop the price?

They are all FAKE, and don't work, after you load 2gb of data they corrupt and can't be recovered.

I was only curious about the pricing as a reference because I would only buy a flash drive at one of the computer stores. Of course, the reference is meaningless if the drive they were selling in Bo Sang were crap.
