I am planning on arriving in LOS in November and taking the TEFL International PELT course. The course is a week of training followed by an internship. I am a little unsure about the legality of this, visa wise. I think I will be arriving in Thailand on a toursit visa a few weeks before the course starts. My questions are:

- Am I allowed to study on a tourist visa?

- Is it possible to get a Non Imm B with a letter inviting me onto the course?

- How easy would it be for me to get the Non Imm B to do (or whilst doing) the internship?

Thanks.

Sorry, forgot to mention, I'm a UK citizen and currently living in South Korea. I realise it may be difficult to obtain the Non Imm B here, but I think it may be possible, if I have the time, to do it by post from the Thai consulate in Hull.

UPDATE: It seeems that I'm allowed to study for this course on a 60 day tourist visa. I would be eligible to apply for a 2 month student visa too, but it seems like a hassle as it's the same duration as the tourist visa. Hope this ma help someone at a later date.
