Penang Visa Run

Featured Replies

Hey,

Anybody know of a Phuket company that do visa runs to Penang other than on Wednesday and Sunday night?

Looking to go on Saturday if possible.

Also, its first time doing it so is it way better to do the "all in one" mini-package than go solo by bus from Phuket bus station?

Cheers

I'm not sure on a company that goes to Penang on Saturday.

I would recommend that you go with one of the all in one packages. My experiences have been very good EVE, they are professional and pleasant to deal with.

Could you go to Langkawi instead? You can fly with Happy Air...Just a thought.

BOY what long trip you have in front of you, how long would you stay in Thailand? Otherwise, Laos is an alternative, you can get 6 months tourist visa there..:whistling:

Hallo, I am not sure what you want on a Sunday in Penang. The Consulate will be closed. It only will cost you an extra hotel night. As the visa run companies want to save cost I doubt that there is any company going on Saturday.

And yes, if you are a "fist times" it is advisable to use an "all in one" package.

fire fly airlines is cheap enough, and you save a days travelling

R/T To Singapore go shopping come back to Thailand all same day...easy

Firefly to Penang, very cheap and 45 minutes, get a taxi to Chulia street and go to Jim's place. He will sort out your visa for you and you can pig out on great Indian food while you wait to get your visa back. No need to go with a visa company unless you want to go the minibus route all the way there and back. :D
