Black Eyes

Featured Replies

My girlfriend has dark patches around her eyes and her friends tease her about looking like a panda, which upsets her quite a bit and gives me grief every morning when she wakes up "what can I do my eyes so black"

She lies on the sofa for an hour a day with cucumber or cold tea bags on her eyes but it doesn't help one bit

She has tried several different creams that the vendors proclaim will work, but they don't

We visited the Bangkok Pattaya hospital and she was prescribed some cream which worked wonders and at only 150 baht it was god send but unfortunately the manufactures have stopped production.

The hospital has now given her a free sample of a different cream which once again has no effect

Does anyones wife / girlfriend have the same problem and can you recommend any creams of other solutions to her problem

Thanks in advance

Tea has a staining agent and it stains my teeth....maybe if she stopped putting tea bags on her eyes the dark patches would go away.

Also, darkening around the eyes is sometimes associated with kidney problems...if she has any other symptoms she might go see a doctor about this.

Also, if she darkened the rest of her face it wouldn't be so noticeable....but there's probably not much chance of her darkening herself anywhere.

Has she always had them, or is it a recent occurence. Most dark patches are hereditary, but " panda eye syndrome" can be brought on by iron, B12, or vitamin C deficiencies.
