Hi Thai Visa,

I would like to apply for Non-Imm O Visa - single entry at some of neighbouring countries. The case is that I am not married, but I have 1 year 6 months old son which I would like to stay and support and his mother of course. He carry my family name and my name is on the birth certificate. I read the section related to NonImm O visa, but I also saw few topics in the forum, which tells that father need to be legally recognized at Ampur.

Which documents I need to apply for 90 days single entry visa. I need a bit more time as currently I am fixing documents for his passport and my girlfriend visa, but there is consul replacement at my country embassy.

Cheers

For a visa the birth certificate is enough. If you cna also take a copy of the mothers ID and mother and child's household registration and a small note from the mother with you to ask for a visa for you and confirming you stay with the child.

If need be you can get a 60 day extension of stay from immirgation, the birth certificate will be enough for that, but take above documents and mother and child with you. You can do it on our current entry also.

Legitimisation must in your case be doen at the court, it will take a few months to do that.

You should be able to get a 60 day extension from Thai Immigration to visit your son.

That would give you a bit of time.

will be granted for a period of not more than 60 days at a time.

(1) Proof of relationship.
