Does anyone have factual information and/or experience on getting a Thai Drivers License if you DO NOT have a valid International License and DO NOT have a license from home country?

Reading various websites the need for an existing license seems to include 'if available' or 'if you have one'.

I've been here for years on non-immigrant marriage visa and let my license at home lapse.

Be given your health certificate from the doctor.
