SATTAHIP: -- A village Chief from Sattahip is accused of shooting his wife, twice in her back after an argument over illegal gambling debts. Khun Apachiyar aged 44 was rushed to the Queen Sirigit Hospital where doctors determined the two gun shots had not penetrated vital organs, however she was later taken to the ICU Department where she remains at this time. Police spoke with Khun Jaroo aged 44, the Chief of Romradee Village who initially denied allegations but he later confessed to shooting his wife at the culmination of an argument over a 1 Million Baht gambling debt accrued by her.
