Over 1 Million Baht in foreign currency stolen during North Pattaya armed robbery

PATTAYA: -- A worker for a foreign exchange company based in Bangkok claims to have been robbed of over 1 Million Baht following an armed robbery in Soi 14 off the Naklua Road. The robbery took place just before 1am on Friday when the victim, Khun Sitishort aged 54, was returning home after he had collected foreign currency including US Dollars and Euros from the Rasputin Show bar located within the Pattaya Dragon Complex in North Pattaya. As he drove his motorbike along the poorly lit road, two men are alleged to have cut him off and, armed with stun guns, demanded Khun Sitishort hand over cash and valuables.
