8,800 Yabba Tablets seized from female drug courier in Sattahip

SATTAHIP: -- A female suspected drug courier was caught with 8,800 Yabba Tablets by Royal Thai Navy Narcotics officials in the early hours of Thursday Morning. Khun Pornsee aged 29, who had recently been released from Rayong Prison where she served 3 years and 6 months on drug trafficking charges, was contacted by an undercover operative posing as a drug buyer, who ordered 500 Yabba Tablets in exchanged for 30,000 Baht in marked bank notes. He arranged to meet the target on the Sukhumvit Road in Sattahip and as soon as the transaction was completed, officers moved in arrested the woman and searched her car where a further 8,300 Yabba Tablets were found, in addition to the 500 Tablets purchased from her moments before the interception.
