Route 2171 Alongside The River

Featured Replies

Don't know if anyone else has noted it but route 2171 alongside the river from the southern end near Ban Wang Tan to route 3029, the Ring Road, is finally open. The road is notably higher than before, no road markings as yet and so far, no holes have been dug into the concrete. Watch out for the new ramp coming off the 2171 towards Wang Tan next to the market.

..true, there are no new holes dug..but still watch out for the square inserts awaiting caps..these are only par-filled with sand and can cause a problem if not aware..about every 150 metres or so.

Thanks for the update Dellboy

Thats useful information for me and I am sure many others, as it is a handy 'back-door' to get into Chiang Mai.
