How come Proton so cheap, not an import from Malaysia?

How come Proton so cheap, not an import from Malaysia?

Because it is built to last about 2 years maximum. :ermm:

Proton must be doing something right, when I was there a few months ago the Boss's 25 million bht Ferrari was sitting outside!!!

My mate has got the Nissen March and I have to say it is a fantastic little car with loads of power for a 1.2 I always love going in it as it is a nice solid ride and I can not honestly find any fault with it.

Proton now do 2 cars around 400,000b. The Savvy and the Saga. Both reasonable cars for the price. The medium line SAGA is a small family car with a 1.3l engine for 429,000b MT and 464,000 AT.

Has airbags, central locking and electric windows, cd stereo with steering wheel remote.

And some nice colours out and in (unlike the Honda Brio with that hideous tan interior) :D:D
