Upright Vacum Cleaner?

Featured Replies

I have yet to find an upright vacume cleaner in Chiang Mai!

Anyone seen one before? Big C /Home pro/Tesco got nothing...

Going crazy using that little pull around one. Used or new I don't care.

Anybody?

Ask any hotel where they buy them if nobody here knows. They are not a consumer item so probably only available from specialist supply type sources. Have you tried any full service appliance type store (or even Central)? You normally can only find mass market type items in the discount stores.

I've got one - Hitachi - in Japan. Does not help u much.

What may help you when you find one is - they come as cleaners for wooden or granite floors or for carpet or for both, self-adjustable.

If you get a cheap one it may be for carpet only and possibly useless in most of Thai homes.

Saw them in Central, Kad Suan Kaew. They may well be available on special order there. Ask the manager of the department.

One thing to keep in mind assuming you can find an upright vacuum cleaner to purchase: you'll also need to find a reliable supply/supplier of bags to fit same.

Thanks guys, I;ll check out central. Yea, the bag thing could get tricky. hard enough here in LA to find the right bags sure it might be a nightmare in CM.

I would really like to get a bag less.

Mine is from overseas. I have to order my bags over the net. Okay but expensive.

Didn't help though when the b'gger broke down. No engineer here can fix it!
