Removing Air Conditioner

Recommended Posts

I need to remove my air con to take to a new house. Has anyone had experience doing this? Is it a diy job? I understand that their is a coolant liquid inside. Does it need to be done by a professional or can I do it without the liquid leaking? If I need a pro, does anyone know of someone in Hang Dong? Thanks.

I have no idea where Hang Dong is so unable to point you in the right direction.

My advice is this is best left to a professional, your a/c unit will need "locked".

Depending on the size of the unit I would consider any change form 2,500 baht for removing and refitting a bonus.

Hang Dong is about 15km SW of Chiang Mai.

Agree with the above, assuming it's a split-unit it's not a DIY job. Talk to your local aircon shop they should have the kit and expertise :)

Yeap leave it to someone who knows what they are doing....although not in Chang Mai, had 2 moved and reinstalled a couple of months ago for THB 2500 a piece
