I have a mate who is coming over from England. He has been offered a job and the company said they they will fax the embassy which he is applying to the required documents. I know about the letter comfirming his job offer but are there any other documents he will need to get his NON B from the embassy. Just checking so the process can run smoothly.

Cheers

The documentation requirements for a non-immigrant 'B' visa varies between consular offices. The Thai embassy in London (if that's where your friend is applying) has a reputation for being rather unhelpful in regards visas. My guess is that their paperwork requirements for a non-immigrant 'B' visa would be extensive so as to minimize the number of visas they may have to issue. It would probably be better to send the application to one of the smaller consular offices in the UK. Hull is often mentioned as being easy to work with.
