Jeez...not again. I was there a few months ago. The place was deserted. Just no tourists. this will really hurt the locals...so sad...

I just read this on the Bali Forum that I read, I know lots of people that are over there now, I was there with the last bomb that killed 202 people and have been back several times, this is so horrible.

JAKARTA (Reuters) - An explosion rocked the Kuta beach tourist area of Indonesia's resort island of Bali, a police official said on Saturday.

"Our officers are on their way to the site. We don't know yet what happened exactly,' Ruda, an official at Bali police headquarters, told Reuters by telephone.

He had no details on damage or casualties.

Local television said there had been three explosions near tourist areas on Bali.

Sky news is reporting that there are several injuries, but not a lot of details are available. This story is just breaking on TV News......

Lets all hope that it is not a repeat of 2002....

There were two blasts in Jimbaran at 6.50pm. One just outside 4 seasons and another at Raja, a nitespot. Witnesses said there is a body under the rubble. The third went off at 7pm, Kuta sq. The first level of matahari is wrecked.

never ceases to amaze me, these f+++ing idiots claiming the bombings are for this reason that reason not only hurt the innocent but also deeply harm thier own people in these areas . bali is a holiday destination with a severe lack of tourism so how are the locals going to make the money to sustain thier families or any kind of lifestyle. ti seems to me it should be about time the locals turned in the extremists for thier own sake,
