I am a Malaysian who will be moving to Chiang Rai soon.

Anyone familiar with lands for houses around Ban Huai Khrai & Ban Huai Nam Khun areas?

I also looking for a plot of land for coffee plantation - any suggestion?

I have no answers about land in your area, nor about coffee plantation land. Make sure you do your homework on land ownership.

I know a grower here. I'll introduce you when you arrive, if you want. I don't know if he would be helpful or if he would be a protectionist with you. He loves to talk about his coffee farming but he may not want to talk about it with a prospective competitor. But, it can't hurt to ask. He exports the majority of his product.

Thx kandahar...I will b there surely by August...I will also set up internet connection at my house in Chiangrai so that I can keep touch with all friends here in thaivisa especially in the Chiangrai forum...thx for the lead, no harm knowing the grower...I'm trying to find as many opportunities possible so that at least when I migrate there, I can make a living...
