Server Hosting In Bkk?

Featured Replies

anyone know of any cheap hosting solutions in bkk, where we could put our small servers(desktop computer), would not require much bandwidth. tried Google but could mostly find large scale data centers etc.

What are you after it for?

If you want to host a website (or anything) which will be accessed outside Thailand I would advise against a Thai provider.

If its a database or similar for a small business I would recommend hosting it internally.

Decent UPS, redundant internet and a load balanced router are all relatively cheap.

If you definitely want to host your own server within Thailand then google "co-location Thailand".

Pretty much the only people offering to host other peoples servers will be the data centres so the places you found before are probably your best bet.

More info on your requirements will help.

Think you would be much better off using a hosting service in USA or Europe. Cost depends on the specific service and the bandwidth that you will want. For example, 1and1.com will host your site for as little as $5/month. Running an internet server is a considerable hassle. A fixed address is one requirement, which will mean getting a pricey business line from TOT, CAT, 3BB, whatever.
