My mum wants to belatedly donate some money to a tsunami charity. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good cause that is still in need of some cash.

Disaster Emergency Appeal...as good as any.....

This earthquake has wiped out entire villages and at least 20,000 people are feared dead, with many more injured and without shelter. Pakistan is worst hit, but parts of India and Afghanistan are also affected....etc...

Alternativly why not donate the cash directly to one of the local schools, either in the form of cash or as much needed educational supplies.

At least that ay you know your money is going t where its needed instead of into a charity "corporate" sink
