Cambodian crossings

Featured Replies

Just a reminder - all the talk of closed borders with Cambodia, this applies currently to thais only, was at Aranyaprathet yesterday, we wandered across to poipet, paid the 1000bt visa fee and 100bt to have it stamped, then returned and got new 30  day tourists visas for thailand where required, as the place is dead at the moment, no touts, beggars etc, - very easy - only took 15 mins, and a 3 hour drive back to bangkok.
Thaiprivateeye, many thanks for your promptly reports from the Cambodian border.

Just came back from Koh Kong (Had Lek). Same situation as in Poipet. Really nice. Almost no people around, including touts.

Even the Cambodian Immigration staff was nice to us (that's a first for me). Only overcharged us 100 baht this time.

Best visa run to Koh Kong so far.
