Old Croc Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 The tower is a restored part of a fort built hundreds of years ago to protect the port. I think it is as mundane as a restaraunt and tourist photo site these days. The city is on the med and nowhere near a border. The other structure mentioned is just a breakwater for the port.
